GIBBON–Elaine Emily Kachelmeier, 97, of Gibbon, died on July 12, 2024, at Woodstone Senior Living in New Ulm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, at St. Willibrord Catholic Church in Gibbon, officiated by Father Brian Oestreich. Following the service, Elaine will be laid to rest at St. Willibrord Catholic Cemetery in Gibbon. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church, prior to the service. A full obituary will be featured in Wednesday’s edition of The Journal. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
