NEW ULM–Donald E. Balbach, 93, of New Ulm passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery, Soldier’s Rest section where the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will provide full military honors. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes – South Chapel in New Ulm. A full obituary will be featured in Wednesday’s edition of The Journal.
