Dale Aloisle Schneider

Feb. 1, 1952-June 11, 2024

Dale Aloisle Schneider was born February 1, 1952 in New Ulm to Alois and Cecilia (Klement) Schneider. He passed away on June 11, 2024 at North Memorial Hospital due to complications of Myotonic Dystrophy. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School in New Ulm and attended Willmar Junior College, St. Cloud State College and Bemidji State College, graduating with a degree in Law Enforcement. He worked in law enforcement for one year and then began his 36 year career with the United States Post Office in Minneapolis. He proudly served one term of service in Viet Nam while a member of the United States Army and was the recipient of two Bronze Stars. Dale resided in Plymouth, Minnesota where he remained active in the local American Legion.

He is survived by his sisters, Sandi (Marv) Trandem of Faribault, Bonnie Topeff of Minnetonka, Lynn Kilian of Clearwater and his brother, Terry (Susan) Schneider of Faribault. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bruce; and brothers-in-law, Jack Topeff and Rob Kilian. He leaves behind seven nieces who admired him greatly.

Dale enjoyed hiking on his land up north, fishing, hunting and wood working in his shop. He was an avid reader. As he wished, there will be no funeral held for him. Burial will be at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery at a later date. www.washburn-mcreavy.com
