Glennda Brandes

Glennda Brandes, a beloved daughter, sister, and mother, passed away on February 25, 2024. Her courageous spirit and unwavering strength touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born to Glenn and Coris Langbhen, Glennda lived a life filled with adventure, resilience, and boundless love. Glennda found solace in traveling, embarking on unforgettable journeys from the picturesque landscapes of Northern Minnesota to the rugged terrain of South Dakota, and all the way to the majestic mountains of Colorado. Whether she was marveling at the beauty of nature’s wonders or immersing herself in the rich tapestry of diverse cultures, Glennda cherished every moment of her adventures. She was a devoted fan of all things sci-fi, horror, and loved her annual 31 Days of Halloween marathon. She found joy in the realms of space exploration, chilling tales, and the month-long celebration of all things eerie, despite her children’s differing interests. Above all, Glennda cherished spending time with her children on her days off. As a devoted mother, she treasured every moment shared with Cassandra, Christopher, and Tyler. Their bond was unbreakable, and her love for them knew no bounds. Glennda’s journey was marked by resilience and determination, as she courageously battled breast cancer not once, but twice, emerging victorious each time. Her tenacity and strength in the face of adversity served as an inspiration to all who knew her. Glennda was a true fighter in every sense of the word.

Glennda is preceded in death by her father Glenn and her brother Trevor. She is survived by her loving mother Coris, her two brothers Lee and Mark, her daughter Cassandra, and her two sons Christopher and Tyler. Glennda’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her legacy of love, courage, and perseverance will continue to inspire generations to come.

In honor of Glennda’s remarkable life, a memorial service will be held on March, 8th 2024 at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home North Chapel starting at 11 a.m.

May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and memories she created in her lifetime.
