Rick was born on Oct. 22, 1960 to Richard and Elaine Brown in New Ulm.

Rick joined the Air force after graduating high school in 1979. Rick married Sara in 1999. He enjoyed hunting fishing, his dogs and the outdoors. Rick passed away at the South Dakota Medical Center.

Rick is survivad by his wife of 24 years, mother, sons Jason, Kevin, daughters Amy (Ace) Kursave, Christina (Matt) Hillesheim and 5 grandchildren. Sisters Kim (Steve) Ranweiler, Journey (Geo) Flores, Brothers Jim, Robert, Scott (Pam), many nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.

Rick was proceeded in death by his father, grandparents, newphews, nieces, aunts and uncles.

There is no funeral, but a private celebration of life with family.
