SLEEPY EYE–Susan L. Heuchert, 66, of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, died on December 15, 2023, at Sleepy Eye Medical Center. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel and will continue from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. The clergy will be Pastor Tony Vietti. Interment will be at Morgan City Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Allina Hospice, Allina Oncology in New Ulm, and New Life Assembly of God Church in Springfield. Sue is survived by her husband, Scott Heuchert of Sleepy Eye; daughter, Angela (Scottie) Fischer of New Ulm; sons, Dan (Tiffany) Heuchert of Marshall and David (Kali) Heuchert of  Parkers Prairie; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben and Theresia Kerkhoff and Christ and Carrie Anderson; parents, Lewis and Verna Anderson; and brothers, Gregory Anderson (in infancy), Robert “Bobcat” Anderson, and Mark “Mouse” Anderson.
