NEW ULM–Douglas A. Bode, 72, of New Ulm, died Monday, November 20, 2023 at the New Ulm Medical Center. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Ulm, with Pastor Timothy Anderson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery Columbarium. Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-SOUTH Chapel in New Ulm, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.  A full obituary will appear in Wednesday’s edition of the Journal.
