SLEEPY EYE–Gerald “Boomer” R. Plahn, age 86 of Sleepy Eye, MN, went peacefully to his Heavenly home on Saturday, October 28, 2023. A visitation will be on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel and will continue on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Sleepy Eye. A memorial service will be held at Faith United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. The clergy will be ­­­Rev. Michael Baker.
