Sally earned her GED and went on to become a LPN, working at Highland Manor Nursing Home and as a home nursing aide, in New Ulm, MN. The couple lived in Sleepy Eye, Springfield and eventually moved to New Ulm, MN where they built their family home and raised their three children. Retiring in 1994, she enjoyed spending time at their cabin with her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. She also worked with Ray, Todd and Tim in their family business, Hager Home Improvement. She was very active in her church until Ray’s death in 2018. Ray, her children, and grandchildren, could always share a story about Sally- she was full of adventure, mischief and love until the very end. She enjoyed family, fishing, gardening, traveling, card playing, reading, puzzles, cross-stitching and needlework.
