Ralph Albert Kuehn was born on January 25, 1929, in Milford Township, Brown County, Minnesota to Michael & Agnes (Janni) Kuehn. Growing up in Milford Township, Ralph attended country grade school District 8 in Milford Township, and later attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in New Ulm to make his first communion. Ralph was united in marriage to Carol Rotering on November 24, 1954, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. This union blessed the couple with nine children whom together they raised on their family farm where Ralph worked as a dedicated farmer for his entire career until retiring in 1990. In his retirement, Ralph continued to help his sons work the farm for over 25 years. Besides working on the farm, Ralph enjoyed bowling, playing cards (especially sheephead), and dancing at area dance halls with his wife Carol. Ralph was a devout member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm where he ushered for many years, volunteered whenever asked, and was an active member of the St. Joseph/St. Elizabeth Catholic United Financial Council. Ralph was proud of his faith, and his farm, but he was most proud of his family he helped raise. Although he lived a strong 94 years, he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Blessed be his memory.
