A memorial visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm. Burial will take place in the New Ulm City Cemetery.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Kathy Schiesl of Brookings, SD; his sons, Kevin Mitchell of Centennial, CO, Kyle Mitchell of Lake Villa, IL; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and his brothers, John Mitchell of Colorado Springs, CO and Don Mitchell of Bellevue, WA.

Charles Lennis Mitchell was born on Oct. 1, 1941, in Reedsburg, WI, to Lennis and Mary (Crouse) Mitchell.
