Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 27, at Peace Lutheran Church in Winthrop with interment in the Winthrop Cemetery.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, February 27, at the church. Memorials preferred.

James “Jim” Norman Kruggel was born on January 25, 1941, in New Ulm to Norman C. and Leona (Gerland) Kruggel.

Jim is survived by his children, Joe Kruggel of Victoria, Jacki Kruggel of Winthrop, Brad Kruggel of Sioux Falls, SD, Kim Schauer of Winthrop, Jamie Kruggel of New Ulm, and Shawn Kruggel of Winthrop; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Volkmann of Winthrop; brother, Dennis Kruggel of Shakopee.
