M e m o rial service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow in New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.

Emma is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene “Casey” Konz; brothers, Wendelin (Delores) Eckstein, Albert (Evelyn) Eckstein, Joseph (Mildred) Eckstein, Walter (Wanneta) Eckstein, George (Joan) Eckstein, Ervin (Margaret) Eckstein; sisters, Angeline (Ervin) Tauer, Rose ( Leonard) Zeigler, Irene (Al) Sellner, Adeline (Ray) Walter and Mary (Merril) Roberts.

Emma Rose Eckstein was born October 31, 1933 to Joe and Emma (Neidecker) Eskstein in Sleepy Eye. Emma was united in marriage to Eugene Konz on August 12, 1953 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. Emma worked at BF Goodrich for over 30 years. After her retirement she cleaned houses. She enjoyed listening to old time music, dancing, playing cards, going to casinos, flea markets and bowling and especially enjoyed going to bowling tournaments. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
