Doug is survived by his parents, Charles and Elaine Neitzel; his daughter Marquette Brandner and her husband Chase; sister Katherine Neitzel and brother-in-law Greg McCullough; nieces Alexandra, Lauren and Elisabeth McCullough; and devoted companion Rebecca Bradley.
Doug believed in freedom and independence, and he loved our country. He flew the American flag on his boat, at the farm, and at his condo. He made friends easily and everywhere he went. Doug was passionate about fi shing, hunting, golf, cards and games, watching old movies and sports — especially the Gophers. His personality, smile, and sense of humor would light up the room, and he always made time to help his friends and others who needed a hand.
