Frances (Frann) Berg was born in Sleepy Eye Minnesota on February 22, 1943, to Arthur and Agnes (Sellner) Schroeder. She attended school in Sleepy Eye. Frann married Leander (Jim) Berg June 27, 1964, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Frann was a cook at the Orchid Inn and retired as a dietary aid at Sleepy Eye Care Center. Frann was a very social woman with an unmeasurable enthusiasm for gambling trips to Jackpot Casino, where you would find her at her favorite penny machine, where she often won big. Frann enjoyed her bowling league, Red Hat Ladies, Food Network channel and flowers. She enjoyed her morning coffee with Jim, listening to WCCO, watching Band Wagon together and listening to the Timberwolves, Vikings and Twins on TV or radio. What Frann loved the most was her three grandsons. She would absolutely light up when they walked in the door she always kept open for them. Her love for them was radiant and larger than life. She truly loved spending time with them, watching them play sports and grow into the men they are today. The bond she had with her boys will last throughout time. Blessed be her memory.
Frann is survived by her loving husband, Leander; sons, Chad (Cindy) and Cory Berg; and grandsons, Caleb (fiancé Sophia Thommes) Berg, Jacob (special friend Payton Trombley) Berg and Carson Berg
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Agnes (Sellner) Schroeder; brothers, Art, Robert, Don, Con, Tom, Jim, Richard; and sisters, Betty, Mary, Delores, Pat and Janice.
