The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to the service in the north entrance of the church.. Interment will be at the Current family Cemetery in rural Sleepy Eye.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home (sturmfh.com) in Sleepy Eye.

Florence Mae (Weiss) Current was born on May 27, 1939, to Lawrence and Anna (Saffert) Weiss in Sleepy Eye. She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Current on May 25, 1957.

She is survived by her children; sons, Allen and Timothy; daughters, Cathy Grossinger and Beverly Hillesheim; and sister, Mary Krypzick.
