Sharon Elizabeth Mae Evers was born Jan. 8, 1950, in New Ulm, Minnesota, to Joseph and Ardis (Hippert) Evers and attended school at New Ulm High School. Sharon worked several years at 3M in New Ulm and an additional 10 years at Kraft Foods in New Ulm until a disability caused her early retirement. Besides work, there were a variety of hobbies Sharon enjoyed in life. As one who loved spending time in nature, Sharon enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and camping. To socialize, Sharon enjoyed time with friends in women’s pool leagues as well as bingo. To relax, she enjoyed a good game of cards or a board game with family and friends, and could commonly be found watching the Hallmark Channel on TV. Sharon was a devout member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. What she enjoyed most in life was any time she got to spend with those she loved. May her memory forever stay in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her. Blessed be those memories.
