Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.

Helen is survived by her sister-in-law, Leone Drew; nieces, nephews and friends.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmond Seitz; brothers, Frank Drew, Tom Drew and Bill Drew; and sister-in-law, Sandy Drew.

Helen Mary Drew was born Aug. 8, 1927, to Dan and Margaret (Burns) Drew in Watertown, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown. She attended school district #48 Hollywood Township and Watertown High School. In 1953 Helen moved to Hutchinson, where she met Edmond Seitz, and the couple was united in marriage on June 25, 1960. After the couple was married, they moved to Lafayette, where they farmed together until Ed passed away in 1998. Helen also worked at 3M for 21 years and Lafayette Good Samaritan Center for 19 years. Helen was a very social person. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and spending time with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
