Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Pastor Scott Oelhafen will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at the church.

Patricia is survived by her husband of over 44 years, Dean Havemeier; daughters, Bobbie Jo Havemeier of Minnesota Lake, Kathy (fiancé, Lance Oscarson) Havemeier of New Ulm, Laura (Tim) Marketon of Lake Crystal, Rebecca (Mac) Gosewisch of New Auburn; son, Andrew (Jessica) Havemeier of New Ulm; six grandchildren, Jayda, Dylan, Trista, Ella, Kaysen, and Owen; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Petronilla Portner.

Patricia Ann Portner was born December 24, 1962 to Stanley and Petronilla (Hauser) Portner in New Ulm. She graduated from high school and met Dean Havemeier. The couple was married on January 13, 1979, in New Ulm and their union was blessed with five children. Patricia dedicated her life to help raising her children, making a home for her family, and working as a dairy farmer. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, tending to her chickens, and deer hunting. Many special memories were made raising her children, playing with her grandchildren, and working on machinery and cars with her husband. Patricia will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
