Albert Edward Kral Jr. was born June 7, 1928, to Albert Sr. and Amelia (Helget) Kral in New Ulm. He attended country school through eighth grade, when he started to farm full time with his family after his father’s passing. Albert was united in marriage to Shirley Baumann on June 19, 1951, at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. This union blessed the couple with eight children. Albert farmed in Lafayette Township his entire career until he and Shirley moved to New Ulm in 1988. After Shirley’s passing, Albert again found love and was united in marriage with Lorraine (Brueske) Zupfer on June 14, 1996, at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. They lived their married life in New Ulm. Albert had a good, long life. He found joy in many things such as bowling, golfing, playing and coaching softball, watching the Minnesota Twins, listening and dancing to old-time music, playing cards, and his trips to Germany and Hawaii. He was a member of the New Ulm Country Club, Knights of Columbus, Catholic Order of Foresters, and a life-long member of Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Albert was a very proud farmer, but the greatest joy in his life was his family, who will all miss him greatly. Blessed be his memory.
