Memorial Service 11 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2022, at the Cambria Presbyterian Church, Cambria, with Pastor Penny Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service. Interment will be in Cambria Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary (mankatomortuary.com) is in charge of arrangements.

Carol was born June 22, 1925, to Lawrence and Selma (Thote) Schellenberger in St. Paul. She grew up in Centerville, Minnesota, and attended school there. She finished her senior year and graduated from New Ulm High School in 1943. Carol married Duane A. Davis on July 24, 1948, at White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Carol and Duane farmed in the Cambria area for 43 years. Carol was a devoted member of Cambria Presbyterian Church and its church women. She enjoyed gardening, canning and making cookies.

Carol is survived by her two children, Linda (Bob) Rengstorf of Judson and Gregg Davis of Cambria; two grandchildren, Travis and Megan Rengstorf; sister, Jane Swenson of River Falls, Wisconsin; three sisters-in-law, Doreen Peterson of New Ulm, Betty Davis of Parker, Colorado, and Diane (Howard) Berg of Osceola, Wisconsin; nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Duane, who died Oct. 9, 1996.
