Patsy was born April 6, 1935, to Elden and Lorraine Bartz. She married Don Nehowig in Worthington on June 6, 1954. Together they made their home in Madelia, and, while raising their four children, Patsy went back to school to earn her elementary education degree from Mankato State University. After several years of teaching in Madelia, she and Don retired to their lake home in Grove Lake, Minnesota.

Patsy enjoyed baking and was always generously sharing her treats with family and friends. But her greatest joy was the time spent with family at the lake and celebrating holidays together.

Patsy is survived by her children, Kim (Joe) Guanella of Alden, Kris (Mark) Hodapp of Blaine, Kelly (Ann) Nehowig of Maple Grove, Kyle (Deb) Nehowig of Clitherall; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; and a brother, Terry (Janice) Bartz of Willmar.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
