A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes SOUTH Chapel in New Ulm.

Larry is survived by his son, Justin (Kristina) Becker of New Ulm; and his sisters, Sandy Becker, Janet Broten, Sharon Donnay, Kathy Becker and Lori Meidl.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sherri Becker; a daughter, Alyssa; his brother, Robert Becker; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Donnay and Douglas Broten.

Lawrence John Becker was born February 24, 1958, in Sleepy Eye to Eugene and Irene (Allen) Becker. He was a 1977 graduate of Springfield High School. Larry enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1977 and served his country for four years. He was united in marriage to Sherri Lingenhag on April 9, 1983 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Larry was employed at Kraft Foods in New Ulm for 25 years until his retirement in 2010. He loved to go fishing and was a do-it-yourself kind of guy.
