Public visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel. Those attending are asked to wear a mask.

Private Family Funeral Service will be held at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel, on Thursday, Feb. 3. Interment will be in the Springfield City Cemetery in Springfield.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield (www.sturmfh.com).

A private face book recording of the service will be available from the family after the service.

Fern F. Meine was born on Feb. 11, 1932 to Alfred and Gertrude (Sorenson) Kirschstein on the family farm near Springfield.

She is survived by four sons, Douglas Meine of Rochester, Tony Meine of Rochester, Ronald Meine of Clements, John Meine of Rogers; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
