A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm. The New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will provide full military honors at the conclusion of the service.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. on Friday prior to the service.

Roger is survived by his wife, Judy Besemer of New Ulm; his sons, Chad Besemer of Lipetsk, Russia, Wade Besemer of New Ulm; his 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ronald Besemer of Cathedral City, California.

Roger Lee Besemer was born July 22, 1947, in New Ulm to Elmer and Valene (Schulz) Besemer.
