Donna Leona Sellner was born March 27, 1956, in Sleepy Eye to Walter Sr. and Mathilda (Rosenstengel) Sellner. She attended country school in Stark Township and was a 1974 graduate of Sleepy Eye High School. Donna was united in marriage to Ronald Soukup on September 30, 1978, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. The couple resided in New Ulm where Donna was employed by 3M, Kraft, and the New Ulm Public Schools before finally settling in at the City of New Ulm Water Department for the past 26 years. Donna also attended and graduated from South Central College in 1991. She entered retirement in April of 2021. Donna enjoyed spending every moment she could with her grandchildren Blake and Jasmine and was eagerly awaiting her third grandchild (from Eric and Hannah), riding motorcycle with her husband Ron, gardening in her flower garden, baking treats for her family, and spending summers at the lake. Donna loved to share her big heart visiting with loved ones as much as possible. Although her time with us seemed to be cut short, countless cherished memories will stay in the heart of those who knew and loved her. Blessed be those memories.
