Vicky L. Hazelton

NEW ULM — Vicky L. Hazelton, age 65, of New Ulm died peacefully on Friday, July 16, 2021, at the Divine Providence Care Center in Sleepy Eye.

Funeral service will be 11 am on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Pastor Timothy Anderson will officiate, and burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-5 pm on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm and continue from 10-11 am on Monday at Christ the King Church.

Vicky is survived by her daughters, Jenny Molin of Mora, Elizabeth Molin of New Ulm; her son, Jeremy Kloos of Mankato; her sister, Debra Rau of Vernon Hills, Illinois; her brother, Brian (Dawn) Kloos of New Ulm; and many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; her brother-in-law, Darcy Rau; and niece, Sarah Rau.

Vicky Lynn Kloos was born June 11, 1956, in Alexandria to John and Darlene (Stamness) Kloos. She was a 1975 graduate from Barrett High School in Barrett, Minnesota and later attained her associates degree in Health Information Technology as well as her nursing assistant credentials. Early in her career, Vicky worked in the coding department at the Allina Medical Center in Chaska. She later worked as a rehab aid at the Sleepy Eye Care Center as well as Divine Providence Care Center in Sleepy Eye before her medial retirement. Besides her work, Vicky enjoyed socializing with friends at the bowling alley, relaxing on the lake fishing, and cheering for the Vikings and Twins. What she enjoyed most in life was time she got to spend with her family and getting to see her children grow. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Blessed be her memory.
