Jennifer is survived by her husband, Mark; her mother, Mary Lund; in-laws, Joanne Renquist and Stan Jorgens; aunts, Ardis Lund and Carol Stoppelmann; and many cousins and many friends.
Jennifer Mary Lund was born on April 17, 1968 in New Ulm to James & Mary (Stoppelmann) Lund in New Ulm. She graduated from New Ulm High School in 1986 and went on to advance her education at Sarah Lawrence College and the University of Minnesota, where she received a B.A. and M.B.A. Jennifer married Mark Jorgens on August 8, 1993. They resided in Golden Valley. She worked as a free-lance contributor in advertising. Jennifer had a wide variety of interests, including music, golf (inherited from her father), French language, and travel. She loved music and played the piano throughout her life. She was learning to play jazz and accompany herself with her songs. Jennifer was privileged to be chosen to be a member of the Minnesota Chorale that sang at Orchestra Hall. Golf with her dad as a teenager and later with her husband Mark and friends was on the agenda as often as possible. Languages, especially French, gave her great joy. French cooking was her latest interest. Travel was another big part of her life. Sometimes with her mother, and many times on her own, Jennifer saw many parts of the world. She also loved her part time catering jobs with D’Amico and Kowalski’s. Many interesting tales were told of incidents that happened on the job.
We will remember her at some exotic place, on a golf course, listening to music, and while eating French food. Blessed be her memory.
