Delores A. Johnson, age 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021 in the Clear Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Cornish Township, Sibley County.
A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Pastor Timothy Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021 at the church.

Delores is survived by his daughters, Julie Johnson (Ernest Scholz) of San Francisco, California and Jane Favre of Walnut Creek, California; sons, Randal (Pamela) Johnson of Gibbon and Arlyn (Gail) Johnson of Miami, Florida; grandchildren, Ryan (Kaylee) Johnson, Ashley (special friend, Matt Vetter) Johnson, Anna Johnson, Alice Johnson, and Alexander Johnson; great grandchildren, Ava Johnson, Greta Johnson, Clay Johnson; sister, Lois Palmquist; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Johnson; her parents; son-in-law, Jean-Claude Favre; sister, Ruby Hopp; and brother, Paul Pagel.
Delores A. Johnson was born October 28, 1925 to Carl and Ella Pagel in Winthrop. She attended grade school at District 51 in Sibley County. Delores was united in marriage to Wallace Johnson on August 28, 1948 at Bismark Lutheran Church in Winthrop. Delores dedicated her life to raising her family, helping Wallace on the farm, and working at various jobs. She also loved traveling, often taking trips all over the United States to see her family and going on international tours with Wallace. Delores enjoyed going bowling, making hardangers, volunteering with various charities, and attending services at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Her helpful and giving nature will always be remembered and Delores will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
