Maxine T. Thomas was born October 9, 1944, in Portsmith, Virginia to Clyde and Helen (Ballenger) Thomas. After her mothers passing at an early age, Maxine helped take care of her family. She met the love of her life, Roger Blomquist at the Office Bar in 1976. The couple was united in marriage on May 23, 1981, in New Ulm where the couple made their home. Maxine was blessed in life with five children whom she dedicated her life to raising and caring for. Besides raising her family, Maxine also enjoyed camping, sewing, doing cross word puzzles and watching her favorite soap operas. What she loved most in life every moment she got to spend with her husband, her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her, but countless cherished memories will forever stay in their hearts. Blessed be those memories.
