A public visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 14, at the Madelia Golf Club in Madelia with COVID-19 requirements being followed.

Private family services will be held at the St. John’s Lutheran Church Willow Creek, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 15.

Interment will be at a later date. A live stream of the service will be available and the link will be posted to the Sturm Funeral Home website.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel in Madelia.

Larry Dean Schickling “Schick”, was born on December 12, 1956 to Willard and Berneda (Schulz) Schickling in Mankato.

Larry is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Madelia; daughters, Heather Russ of Madelia, Rachel Schickling of Madelia, and Tiffany Schickling-Nichols of New Ulm; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Steve Schickling, LaVonne Teigum, and Dave Schickling.
