A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Sanborn Community Center (formerly Rope n Spur) in Sanborn, MN.

A private graveside service will be held at Zion Cemetery in Sanborn, MN.

Noel Richard Pidde was born on August 5, 1959, in Brainerd, Minn., to Richard and Janette (Moore) Pidde. He was raised in Comfrey, Minn., and graduated from Comfrey Public School in 1977. Following graduation, Noel worked at Sanborn Mfg./Coleman in Springfield for 27 years. He then worked at Red Rock Quarry for 13 years. On February 5, 1983, Noel was united in marriage to Renee Brown. They made their home in Sanborn. Together the couple raised two children, Jordan Anthony and Angela Victoria. Noel had a solid, steady presence. He enjoyed classic rock and classic cars. He was especially fond of his Corvette, which he continually customized. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Sanborn, where he served on church council, taught Sunday School, and sang in the choir. Noel died on April 30, 2021, in Rochester, MN, following emergency surgery to repair an aortic dissection.

Noel is survived by his wife of 38 years, Renee; children, Jordan and wife Jeanette of Springfield and Angela and husband Jackson Felde of St. Paul; grandchildren, Jonah and Lorelei Pidde; mother, Janette Pidde of Comfrey; and siblings, Brian of Sanborn, Todd of Comfrey, Kristi Lilli of San Diego, CA, and Eric of Comfrey. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard, mother and father-in-law, Orville and Eileen Brown, brother-in-law, John Lilli, and infant brother, Lee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
