Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 9, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Gibbon.

Visitation will be from 9-11 am on Friday at the church in Gibbon.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of Gibbon are assisting the family with arrangements at this time.

Lila is survived by her sons, Bruce Black of Gibbon, Gary Black of Estilline, South Dakota; and three grandchildren.

Lila Laverna Kuester was born April 18, 1936, in Wellington Township-Renville County to Robert and Orpha (Borth) Kuester.
