A prayer service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Norbert is survived by his wife Irina Gleisner; a step-son, Gregory Drogaline; nieces, Phyllis (Howard) Aschenbrenner, Karen Clobes, Marian Krebs and Dorothy Brey; nephews, Vernon (Pam) Clobes, Allen (Annette) Altmann, Hilarian (Diane) Brey, Myron Clobes and Warren (Denise) Clobes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Agnes Brey, Florence Altmann and Gertrude Brey; and by a nephew, Leon Brey.

Norbert Joseph Gleisner was born Oct. 25, 1928 in West Newton Township to Andrew and Mary (Brey) Gleisner. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1949.
