There will be a private family visitation and burial on Dec. 8.

Alice is survived by her children, Jerry (Cindy) Hauser, Theresa (Mike) Finstad, Linda (Willis Jr.) Schaefer, Carol (Kevin) Rich, Diane (Michael) Bulock and Rose; nine grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; her brothers, Paul (Carrie), Henry (Pat), John and Tony, and sisters, Rose, Cathy (Steve), Anne (Michael) and Mary.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anna Brandel; husband Jerome in 2007; son Mike in 2018, and by brothers Ralph in infancy, Francis, Pay and Leo Brandel and sister Dorothy Byer.

She graduated from New Ulm High School in 1957. Alice was united in marriage to Jerome Hauser on May 14, 1960, at St. George Catholic Church. They started their family on a farm in Courtland and later moved to New Ulm.

She worked at the Sleepy Eye Hospital and Herberger’s in her younger years. She was also a loving homemaker.

She enjoyed listening to a variety of music, going out to eat, spending time with family, her PCAs and her senior companion. She loved her weekly game day with family. She also had a love for animals. Her favorite thing to do was jigsaw puzzles. She was known for her hugs. She will be dearly missed.
