There will be a private service with burial at New Hope Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Comfrey.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Comfrey.

Dorothy was born on April 16, 1928, in Burnstown Township to Edna (Winkelmann) and George Prechel.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Sheldon Schuelke, LuAnn Augustin, Preston Schuelke, and Colleen Havens; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and step-great grandchildren.
