NEW ULM — Rodney Wesselmann, age 65, of New Ulm passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 14, 2020.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Vickie Wesselmann; children, Kimberly (Tami) Wesselmann of Nicollet, MN, Kris (Nate) Paschke of St. Peter, MN, Franklin (Jessica) Wesselmann of New Ulm, MN; sisters, Beverly (Jerry) Matejka of New Ulm, MN, Connie Wager of Fairfax, MN, Debbie (Frank) Korkemeier of Fairfax, MN, Theresa (Jerry) Schultz of New Ulm, MN; brothers, Jeffrey (Karen) Wesselmann of St. George, MN, Michael Wesselmann of New Ulm, MN, Patrick (Stephanie) Wesselmann of Chandler, AZ, Paul (Deb) Wesselmann of New Ulm, MN; grandchildren, Alvin, and August; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mary Ann Wesselmann; and his sister Mary Margaret Wesselmann.

Rodney “Rod” Joseph Wesselmann was born on June 2, 1955 in New Ulm, MN to Alvin and Mary Ann (Hartung) Wesselmann. He was united in marriage to Vickie Langdon on May 11, 1979 in Cody, WY. The couple was blessed with two children and raised them in Lewistown, MT. Rod worked as a manager at Pamida Inc. for many years and later went on to work as a manager for the Lewistown bowling alley, Snowy Lanes. When he wasn’t working or spending time with his family, he could be found golfing, bowling, hunting, fishing, or cheering on the Chicago Cubs. Rodney will be dearly missed by all that knew him, blessed be his memory.
