Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. The New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will provide full military honors following the service at church. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bird Island City Cemetery in Bird Island.

Due to current social constraints, a visitation will be held 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept.15, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Masks and distancing are required. Seating for the memorial service will be limited.

A full obituary will be published in Monday’s edition of The Journal. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm is in charge of arrangements.
