Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm with Father Gerald Meidl celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Searles with full military honors being provided by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the time of Mass on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling the arrangements.

Dennis is survived by his wife Mary; daughters, Tina (Will) Hornick and Dana (Brian) Bushard all of New Ulm; a son, Kyle (Leah) Stadick also of New Ulm; grandchildren, Hayley (Ryan) Swenson, Alexa, Mya, Bridget and Joe; great grandchild, Reagan; and by his brothers, Lester (Karen) Stadick and Melvin (Delrose) Stadick all of New Ulm.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dennis Theodore Stadick was born August 6, 1943 in New Ulm to Theodore and Florence (Drexler) Stadick; He was a 1961 graduate of New Ulm High School. After high school he served in the Minnesota National Guard. Dennis was united in marriage to Mary Hillesheim on September 27, 1969 at the Church of the Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth. Dennis farmed his entire life on the family farm in Sigel Township. His hobbies included bowling, playing cards, traveling, butchering and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Dennis was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles.
