A private family only graveside service will be held at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Nathan Scharf will officiate.

Due to current social constraints, there will not be a public visitation or service. The funeral will be live streamed on the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes Facebook page. To view the service, simply “like” the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home’s Facebook page and click the Live Stream button and tune in at 11 am on Monday.

Carole is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Rick Konakowitz, Terry Lynn (Allan) Fox, Paul (Monica) Konakowitz; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Floyd Drill and Rocky Lane.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

Carole Roberta Konakowitz was born May 7, 1940 in New Ulm to George and Audrey (Nelson) Drill. Carole married the love of her life Larry Kanakowitz on July 21, 1967 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Carole retired from New Ulm Telecom. She enjoyed crocheting, stain glass and sewing but above all else she loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
