Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the Church of the Japanese Martyrs, Leavenworth. Interment will be in the Japanese Martyrs Catholic Cemetery in Leavenworth.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield and will continue on Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the church. There will be a Christian Mothers Rosary at 4:45 p.m. and a Parish Prayer Service at 8 p.m., both at the funeral home in Springfield.

Rita Francis (Callanan) Windschitl was born on May 9, 1929 in Springfield to Edward H. and Rose (Kriesel) Callanan.

Rita is survived by her children, Joseph Windschitl of Sleepy Eye, Patrick Windschitl of Springfield, Michael Windschitl of Comfrey, Roseanne Kaseforth of Springfield; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a sister, Alice Miller of St. Paul.
