Lorraine Weier, 86, of New Ulm died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm with Father Cornelius Ezeiloaku celebrating the Mass. Burial will following the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday and 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.

Lorraine Irene Wieland was born Feb. 21, 1933 in Milford Township, Brown County to August and Annie (Rubie) Wieland. She was a 1951 graduate of New Ulm High School. After school Lorraine was employed at the offices of Dr. Ted Fritsche and then the Mayor of New Ulm. She was united in marriage to Leo Weier on April 24, 1952. After marriage Lorraine was employed at Brown County Family Services as a home health care assistant and then Sioux Valley Hospital, Highland Manor and Nova House.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Linda Bamford of Sun City, Arizona; her son, Lee (Laurie) Weier of New Ulm; and by many wonderful and caring nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her five brothers and one sister.
