NEW ULM — Rollie Holstein, 80, of New Ulm died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 at the Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Pastor Gerhart Miller officiating. Inurnment will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.

Rollie is survived by his wife Diane Holstein of New Ulm; a daughter, Leah (Peter) Bailey of Plymouth; sons, Steven (Liz) Holstein of New Ulm, Brian Holstein of Montgomery, Jeff (Tasha) Holstein of New Ulm, Brian (Nancy) Bushee of Philadelphia, Pa. and Eric Bushee of Mound; grandchildren, Charlie, Elise, Rachel, Jim, Jacob, Rebecca and Corben; a sister, Marlys (Gordy) Edwards of Tracy; a brother, Frank (Alicia) Holstein of Papillion, Neb.; brothers-in-law, Richard (Kathy) Breu of Pharr, Texas and Bob (Chrissy) Breu of Faribault.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his in-laws, Leonard and Nippy Breu.

Rollie Dennis Holstein was born Aug. 8, 1939 in Tracy to Frank and Frances (Averill) Holstein. He attended Tracy Schools. Rollie was united in marriage to Diane Bushee on Feb. 2, 1978. He was employed at 3M, Sanborn Manufacturing and then Midwest Electric in Mankato until his retirement in 2001. Rollie enjoyed Ford Mustangs, touring on his Harley Davidson and watching the Minnesota Vikings.
