Service will be Thursday, November 7, 11 a.m. at American Lutheran Church in Gaylord, with interment in the Gaylord City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2019, 4-6 p.m, at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Marjorie Lois Matthiae was born on February 25, 1925, in Gaylord, to Martin and Tena (Peters) Asmus.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Mary Matthiae of Missoula, Mont., Jon Matthiae of St. Paul, and Tom Matthiae of Hayward, Wis.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Kuske of Mankato; and brother, Maynard Asmus of St. Paul.
