Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – SOUTH Chapel in New Ulm, with Deacon Rick Christianson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

William is survived by his wife, Isabel; daughters, Lisa (Bruce) Rosenau, Lori Armstrong, and Lesley (Brian) Fischer; five grandchildren, Jesse, Jacob & Katie Rosenau, Kayla Shaw, and Kristy Fischer; a sister, Diane Armstrong; a brother, Dale Armstrong; and the Villarosa family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Donna and Beverly Armstrong; and a brother, Gary Armstrong.

William Robert Armstrong Jr was born on January 16, 1949 in New Ulm to William and Dorothy (Wentzlaff) Armstrong. He graduated from New Ulm Senior High School. William was united in marriage to Isabelita Villarosa on June 14, 2002 in New Ulm. He enjoyed spending time in nature while fishing, hunting, gardening, or watching wildlife. William loved telling jokes and making people laugh. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. Blessed be his memory.
