Mass of Christian burial will be 11 am on Monday, Aug. 5, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday and continue from 9-10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm.

Bernice is survived by her daughters, Diane Benson of New Ulm, Patricia Andrews of Arcadia, Florida, Marie Grussendorf of Lafayette; her son, David Sperl of Courtland; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Betty Dorn of Mankato and Charlene Ubl of Mankato.

Bernice Ordell Tischer was born July 23, 1925, in Good Thunder to Herman and Hattie (Behnke) Tischer.
