Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 3, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm. Full military honors will be provided by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard. Cannon salute will be provided by the New Ulm Battery.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-North Chapel and 10-11 a.m. on Monday, June 3, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Joel is survived by his wife, Rheeta Albrecht of New Ulm; his daughters, Victoria Torvick of New Ulm, and Ramona Albrecht of New Ulm; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and brother, Luther Albrecht of Romeoville, Illinois.

Joel Timm Albrecht was born August 4, 1935, in Clarkfield, to Rev. Henry and Clara (Timm) Albrecht.
