Harold was born on May 27, 1929 in New Ulm, MN to Albert F. Neumann and Amelia A. Koeting. He passed away on Jan. 8, 2019 in Allegience Hospice Home in Jackson, MI. Harold spent his life as a jack of all trades. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He devoted a majority of his time to working hard and providing for his family. He was a very honorable, honest and trustworthy man. Poppy was very much loved by anyone and everyone who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers; Wallace, Donald, Harvey, Garnet and Albert. He is survived by his lifelong sweetheart, Alice Neumann, his five children; Randy (Ricki) Neumann, Tim (April) Neumann, Julie Daniels, Vicky (Ron) Crookham and Mark (Millie) Neumann, his 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
