Micah was born on March 1, 2003 in New Ulm where he lived with his family. He attended New Ulm Public High School where he would have been a sophomore this fall. He enjoyed playing the saxophone in the band and playing basketball and tennis. He had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed spending time at his grandparents’ cabin. His favorite past times included swimming, fishing, 4-wheeling, hunting, spending time with family and friends, playing with his dog, and listening to classic rock music. He was a kind, compassionate, and loving person with a great sense of humor.

Micah will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his parents, Peter and Angela (Aalgaard) Anderson, his sister, Annika, his paternal grandparents, Roger and Nita Anderson and maternal grandmother, Beverly Aalgaard and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Erling Aalgaard, and his great-grandparents.

Memorial donations in memory of Micah may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Make-a Wish Foundation or Childhood cancer research.
