Agnes Boelter

NEW ULM — Agnes Boelter, 85, of New Ulm died peacefully Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Sleepy Eye Care Center in the loving arms of her family.
Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, August 26, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Donald Sutton officiating.
Burial will take place in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm at a later date.
Visitation will be 9 – 11 AM Saturday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.

Agnes is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Curt) Karpen of New Ulm, Kim (Tim) Hoscheit of New Ulm, Darci (Rick) Johnson of Willmar; sons, Bryan Boelter of St. Cloud, Bryce (Shelly) Boelter of New Ulm; grandchildren, Heidi Karpen, Heather (Jeff) Graupman, Bo Boelter, Kasi Boelter, Adam Hoscheit, Jared Hoscheit, Seth (Kodi) Hoscheit, Britta Johnson, Vaughn Johnson, Abby Johnson, Hailey Boelter and Braxton Boelter; great grandchildren, Devan, Blake, Chloe, Penelope and Ali; sisters, Re Mann of Cottage Grove, Darlene (George) Walden of New Ulm.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Marvin Boelter on July 9, 2007.
Agnes Violet Hirchert was born August 25, 1931 in Faulkton, South Dakota. She was united in marriage to Marvin Boelter on February 19, 1950 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Agnes was employed at the Bee Hive in New Ulm and after marriage she became a homemaker and secretary/treasurer for Marvin Boelter Construction.
She enjoyed painting, flower gardening, embroidering, crocheting and playing card games with friends and family. Agnes truly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
